BRASS FILTER ELEMENT - Filtering moisture and fine particles to get clean and dry air which prevents damage to air tools, spray guns and pneumatic equipment. The 5 micron brass filter element provide higher efficient filtration and long lifetime than the fiber one. AIR REGULATOR - With the adjustable pressure control knob, you can pull up and turn the black knob to set the desired pressure. No matter how the inlet pressure and flow fluctuations are, it always can maintain a stable outlet pressure. SEMI-AUTO DRAIN - The air filter regulator is equipped with a semi-auto drain that means it will drain accumulated liquids automatically when there is no pressure. Take care of the MAX drain level on the bowl and always keep the liquids below the line. PRESSURE GAUGE&BRACKET - The pressure gauge is more accurate to the pressure induction and the metal shell is resistant corrosion. The dial scale has two units of measurement: psi and bar. The Max pressure is 150 PSI. The bracket is designed to provide a secure way to mount a filter regulator and easy removal. METAL COVER- The metal cover is designed the style of hollow-carved not full covered that not only protective the cup but also make you can see the inside of the bowl through the side. 2×1/4” double male fittings can transfer the female fittings in the filter into the male fitting to connect. Please use teflon tape to ensure tight connect before using.

limited use for oiler

1st I do not use this unit as an oiler because I prefer to oil my air tools my self and I use this unite for my sand blaster to keep water out of lines .Do not want any oil coating lines .Does it's job.

Cheap but does it's job

Seen reviews complain about horrible tooling but it's was a lil rough at worst threads had to be cleaned of metal burs but does exactly what I needed it to do all in all good product

Don't overtighten. Must disassemble.

All seems sturdy, just don't overtighten or you'll have to remove the pressure regulator and learn that right is the way to loosen up.

Pros

air pressure regulator

This air pressure regulator / lubricator is a nice addition to my backyard garage. It did not come with any directions but only took a few minutes to figure out how everything worked. It has fittings on both side for the pressure gauge depending on the direction of your air flow. It has metal shielding to protect the plastic bowls. The pressure is easy to change and locks into place. This is a very nice regulator for the money.

Works great. That's my feedback! It may not have the most accurate gauge, but it is pretty close and for most people it is sufficient.

Drain valve rusts - my new review

With approx 10 hours of usage, the drain valve is already rusting. Not sure of longevity, but would not buy again. Definitely not for use on higher CFM output compressors, OK for pancake type.

Pros

I needed something to keep the water out of my tools. This works perfect on my craftsman air compressor.

It works and the set up was easy.

I purchased this after buying a plasma cutter to keep the air required clean and oil free. Set up was a breeze. The ports on here are 3/8" NPT. The unit works as advertised and it saves my consumables. Precise psi adjustment is easy and accurate.
