📱 Enhance Your HTC-2000 Universal Mobile Base with the HTC K1218 Extension Rail Kit Review

Ordered this with a black base, the product pictured was black but received white parts. Now the base looks like a hodgepodge :( Throw away the included 1/4-20 hardware, they'll make you shit and pull your hair out.

Really helped the moveable base fit my particular saw. The only problem was that I had to add more screws. More was sent at my request, but for my taste it should have been more, so it got 4 stars instead of 5. I've been using the base for a while and it works well.

I would have preferred the white rails that came with the casters. Only four nuts and bolts were included and failed to complete the project. This is the second order of the rail kit which only includes four bolts and nuts. The specification picture shows eight bolts and nuts. I didn't get all the parts I paid for.

The product description at the top of the page says it comes with four 18" rails and hardware. The manufacturer's description says it comes with two 12" and two 18" rails, but no mention of the hardware. I have none of these descriptions. I have four 12" rails (11.75 to be exact) and no brackets. I waited too long to collect my base and can no longer return the product (I know my fault).

I did a more detailed review of the HTC2000's adjustable mobile base, but I didn't find anything wrong with these guides. You have done a good job of making a large table saw platform. My plans called for a much larger base than the 2000 base level. I have brought all of these rails to their maximum safe working distance and there has not been a single sag in 9 months.

The item should contain 2 18" bars and 2 12" bars and 8 bolts. I have 4 12" rods and 4 screws. This made it difficult to do what I needed, luckily I have other HTC mobile base stations and was able to swap out the parts and get everything working. In the end I just needed those Bolts from this kit Bought from Revain stock so I'm guessing someone bought 2 sets of extensions and returned all the short pieces I would return it but I've used the pieces and sending them back is more work than it's…
