    It's really cool, the mist it emits is good for the fish. However, if you have fine gravel or sand, you will run into problems. I have sand, it clogs and stops working. And when it stops spinning, it takes a good 20 minutes before it starts working again. I got so fed up that I ended up taking out the little thin stick and not attaching it to the transparent spinning thing or the green spinning fan-like thing.     This item is really cool. I have it in a small 15 gallon tank which is large. I thought it would be a lot smaller and originally intended to place it as an accent piece with a Mayan head decoration and it's a lot larger than I thought it would be and I can't fit both of them in it. . So I dropped the Mayan head and used the volcano as the centerpiece of the aquarium surrounded by plants and it looks really cool. It blows very, very small bubbles.     My tank turned gray

    I got this and agree it's a cool effect. However, I only kept it in the aquarium for two days and on the second day the paint that was in it came off and my water turned grey. Luckily the fish were in another tank at the time so I was able to drain and refill, but that was a big problem. Inside is smooth plastic, it looks like the paint just won't stick. I was able to use a cheap toothbrush and scrape off most of the paint on the inside, so I put her back in the tank (since she doesn't have any
