Works great on my tank. Very good quality, looks like it will last a long time and is quite beautiful. The magnet is so strong that when you put the 2 parts together it will be difficult to pull the 2 parts apart again. So be careful not to do this!

Pros: I have a large 1/2 inch thick acrylic tank and the magnet is strong enough to hold both halves together as advertised. It appears to be well made and should last a long time. Cons: The inner brush is too rough for an acrylic tank. First I tested a small area and it stole the ACRYLIC aquarium. Nowhere in the description or on the packaging does it say it's not intended for acrylic. ATTENTION TO THE BUYER.

Wow, I'm really excited. Great job descaling algae on my 90 inch tank. The magnet is so strong that, despite the angle of the hex corners, I can actually switch from one panel to another. Two scrapers are included, one with a plastic edge and one with a metal edge for thicker deposits. I used a plastic lip and it works great in my fresh water tank. Cleans even hard-to-remove deposits on silicone seals between glasses.

This is a fairly effective algae scraper that is also attractive. I liked that it comes with a steel and plastic blade so I can use it in both glass and acrylic pools. I've only tested it on my 36-inch, 24-gallon, low-iron tank so far, but it works pretty well. Ideal for removing those stubborn green algae from glass. and algae are always present. I am very satisfied with this product. I post before and after green algae removal.

I was about to buy one of the tree algae scrapers when I came across this one. It's not real wood, but it matches my coaster better in color, and the shape of this coaster is actually easier and nicer to hold. The magnets are very strong (don't let them stick together!) so the scraper slides smoothly into my tank without bouncing around at all. I have a 180 gallon tank with 1/2" glass. Before ordering Hygger's High Magnetic Aquarium Cleaner I looked at many reviews. I have a 125 gallon reef tank with fairly thick glass. The strength of the magnets is just enough to clean the glass effortlessly. Yes, it does an excellent job of cleaning glass. I don't usually write many reviews unless I have something useful for another fridge. THIS HAS TO BE THE BEST MAGNET FOR CLEANING A REEF TANK. I have 14 tanks that I have to keep clean and it's a chore. I always recommend anything that makes work less and hobbies more enjoyable. There are LOTS of inferior products in the reef industry.
