PLA is a bit awkward to use. I was able to get it up and running reliably after about 6 hours of setup. I ended up with a nozzle temp of 230°C (very high, possibly a hardware issue with my prusa i3 mk3), bed temp of 60°C, retraction of 3mm at 60mm/s, first layer speed of 10mm/s, Outer circumference 30 mm/s and filling 45 mm/s. I was looking for a good quality PLA at a good price that wouldn't break the bank for prototyping. So I grabbed a roll of this as it was pretty cheap. IC3D far exceeded my expectations with their PLA. Delivered in a beautiful box sealed with a silica gel pouch.
