    Do not buy. best spare parts

    I took a chance after seeing negative reviews and my experience was the same as other negative reviews. The product worked great until it broke. I can start the engine with the key in the run position, but the ignition does not send a signal to the starter. The product failed after only 3 weeks of installation. I will replace it with an OEM.

    READ THIS - TERRIBLE PRODUCT

    DO NOT BUY THIS. I bought one and it broke after 2 weeks. Out of necessity and how quickly this particular ignition could get to my house, I bought another. This time it only took 2 days. So I was only able to use my boat on 2 out of 3 days of my trip. Absolute garbage product. I don't understand why companies/people waste their time developing such a terrible product that is clearly short lived. It would be better for people and the environment if companies/people didn't produce waste straight

    Works perfectly! No problems with the right connection!

    This was a great solution to replace the key switch on my aluminum G3 side console boat. The tether switch failed to turn off the 40 hp Evinrude engine. Removing and opening up the OMC gas regulator allowed easy access to the original switch and this is a full size replacement. There are 6 insulated bullet connectors on the switch wiring and it just takes some effort to connect them properly for the new switch. Disconnect the battery first, then line up the alignment with the old switch and use
