Fit like a glove in my 2000 XJ Cherokee!

Works perfectly on my 2000 XJ Cherokee, I had no trouble starting as there are no smart keys for this model year. Installation is very easy and only takes a minute.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Only available in black

Easy to install: spare parts

This was exactly what I needed. I'm tired of spraying WD in the ignition and banging the key in with a hammer. The only conclusion is that I had to install it in the part of northern Minnesota where I live when the actual temperature was -22Β°.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Without automatic

Decent price compared to a locksmith

Works a little tight to turn key but works and took a little time to install, was moderately easy and for the price in comparison definitely worth it at the price, what a locksmith may charge for making keys that have been previously used will cost anything but a few hundred just to have all the keys unused until about 2 years later.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Doesn't work for my '99 Wrangler

Easy install but my '99 Jeep Wrangler seems to have a chip in the key. The Jeep started with the new key but would not start after 30 seconds. I then put the old cylinder back in and it works perfectly with the old key. Go to the dealer to get a new cylinder and key with the correct chip code.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Hard to tell

2001 JEEP CHEROKEE SPORT 4WD 4-DOOR. Well I took an old key with a chip on it, cut it out and put it on the Mobilzer where it wouldn't come loose and then put it where you know NOBODY else is interested in you selling it, then you know you. GOOD because I miss key spots all the time like at least 1 to 5/6 or 10 times a day lol πŸ˜‚ but it's true but I put it on anyway and my Jeep Cherokee is 2001 year Sport 4WD 4 door works great, so far so good. Thanks again, but this works for me. But remember,

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Packaging ugly

2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee

So my 2002 Jeep GC had constant trouble turning the key in the ignition. Tired of the hammer method and knew I needed a transponder key but didn't want to spend money dialing and reprogramming. Now with this particular lock cylinder I have 2 black ignition keys and the original gray transponder key. You can take your gray remote control key and tape it or zip it up near the lock cylinder, but I only have one and I still need it to open the doors. So when I start, I just put the gray key in the…
