I am writing this because I have seen some negative reviews about the product not working. It almost put me off buying it, but I'm still glad I did. At first I couldn't get it to work. But after several tries I came up with a method that works great! Totally agree with the methodology described by the reviewer. I copy below for reference. Tape I just used with two banana clips on the ends after I finished wrapping. In fact, the heat gun must be installed low. With that in mind, I was able to complete the shrinking process with relative ease. I had some 5 inch wires that were part of a bundle that I couldn't make out. So I couldn't use conventional shrink tubing. This tape helped me.
