Although the light shines well, the on/off switch is defective. Sometimes the switch does not respond to turning off after turning it on. I have to disconnect and then reconnect the power supply for the switch to work again. I know there are 2 different places to plug the power into the device (one side for always on and the other side for switchable mode) and I plugged it into the correct side.
