Installed these over the weekend and all went well. Appreciated the system of plastic connectors and it worked as it should. I'm curious to see how they do outdoors.

It comes with a poorly designed bracket. The bracket is unthreaded, so the cover screw must be tightened with a hex head screw. Unless they're threaded in one direction so it doesn't work.

It arrived damaged - the box it came in was not damaged so I'm wondering if it has been used and not opened? Now you can't hang it flush with the wall and I just have to throw it away.

My guest room loves them so much I will be ordering them for both my kitchen and master bedroom! They are easy to mount on the wall but need to be fixed firmly. I am using remote controlled LED lights instead of a regular lightbulb until I can find an electrician to install them properly and they work great!

Although it comes with a cable connector I chose not to use it as I have one installed and trying to hold and tighten the screw was impossible for me. I installed the bracket first when I hung the pickguard, but figured it would be closer to just mounting it to the pickguard with the bracket included in the kit. The first picture was my original plan and the second was the light after installation as I said.

I wanted some nice black gooseneck wall lights for the hallway. Didn't need anything special or anything we needed to connect as I just plugged in washers (no bulbs). I can't comment on the quality of the fixtures themselves or how they attach to the walls. But for my purposes they were perfect. Slightly cheaper (the screw covers on the front weren't deep enough for the screws, so we used an outlet extender). But since we didn't need anything exciting or out of the ordinary, they did their job!
