Great Terrarium Heater for Reptile House!

Based on our own experience this infrared ceramic reptile emitter has been one of the best additions to our pet supplies .It's easy to install, and the heat it provides is consistent and reliable. Our reptiles love it, and it helps keep their TANKS at just the right temperature, which is crucial for their health. The only downside is that it can get hot to the touch, so be careful when handling it. Overall, we highly recommend this product!

Pros
  • Produces heat and light for reptiles and aquatic animals.
Cons
  • May emit too much heat, potentially harming the animal if not monitored closely.

Before you buy, find out how you plan to use them.

I bought these for my red turtle and they turned out to be the wrong choice. I think the best thing would be to increase the case temperature instead of spot heating. My 75 watt lightbulb puts out a lot of heat, around 180 degrees (82C), so you'll need a ceramic mount. I don't see many uses for animals, but they would be good for heating an unheated space, so your pipes might not freeze (that's what they're probably made for).

Pros
  • This ceramic heat lamp is the ideal 24/7 heat source for reptiles and amphibians. They could last 9000 to 15000 hours or more
Cons
  • Vulgarity
