Great investment for trunk and holder

Bought this for my daughter who bought a paddle board. She attached the board to her Jeep Renegade with ratchet straps, and not only was it complicated and awkward, it looked unsafe. I ordered this shelf and it changed the world. She is only 5 feet tall and can easily load and unload her board. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent frame. Easy to download and very secure.

After receiving and installing this shelf I have to say I was wondering if it was worth the money. It's well made and works very well, but I felt like I could do the same with a simple belt and ratchet. But now that I've used it for a while, I'm convinced. It is very easy to tension the cables after loading the SUP. The only reason I gave four stars is the price. At $220, it's 5 to 10 times more expensive than regular straps. So if cost is an issue, stick with simple straps and a ratchet. If…

High quality, easy to use and easy enough to install for women!

I decided that if I had a SUP I should be able to load and unload my Hummer H3 myself. Before the Inno, I had to spend so much time fixing it to the roof rack and moving back and forth. The Hummer H3 is quite a large SUV, so tying it down in the hot Virgin Islands sun was a challenge! Not only is the Inno so easy to use, I even mounted it on my factory roof racks myself! I had to watch the installation video several times after opening the parts box. Gone are the days of wandering back and…

First Time Surfing used this and it made it so easy

I have a feeling there is nothing that will make you lose the surfboard attached to this mount in your car. It's incredibly easy to use. My only advice would be that if you're using this with an SUV, the convenience is offset by the fact that you can get onto the roof to hook the cables from side to side. You might want to buy a step stool for easier access to your roof to connect wires from one side to I-don't-how-I-things-on-the-other. - the side of this rack. Inno advises against leaving the

Will not fit Subaru Crosstrek OEM handlebars

We really wanted this SUP mount because it was easy to get on and off our crossbars and it looked like it is easy to carry our SUPs. BUT unlike Thule and Yakima SUP bindings, this binding is mounted on crossbars. Because of this, where the joists can be placed along the cross members is very important - they need to be set wide to match the width of the boards. Because our OEM Subaru Crosstrek crossbars are thicker around the edges, we were unable to mount the holder wide enough to accommodate…

Awesome Sauce for Car Racks and Holders

I was looking for these at a store on Oahu and they were out of stock. Board locks are pretty amazing if I do say so myself! Not only are they easy to install/remove, you can't do without a key! The black plastic boxes at each end have a quick-release fastener that locks to the cable with a small lever under tension. It's also fairly easy to load longboards etc as the roller pads roll (even on a square bar) so you can load the board from the front or back of the car. No more crazy climbs from…

Great SUP mount on roof bars

I am currently using it on a Thule Rapid Bar system and I really like this item. will not be sent again. This device has an overall user-friendly design. I never read the instructions, but I found everything to be quite easy - loosen, snap in, etc. One thing one person has complained about is that one side of the locking mechanism doesn't engage. After my paddleboard was properly secured, I tried to open the unlocked side and couldn't open the valve that closes/locks the quick release. It seems

Good. In theory: accessories

So I was looking for a SUP frame that didn't work and was easy enough to load. For the record, I have a Honda Passport and I'm only 5 feet tall. So the store was a problem. My board is 10.6" long and 32" wide. She weighs 28 pounds. Specifications are provided by the manufacturer. I liked this idea very much. Idea. And that's mostly true. Now I have a used version. When I opened the package it was clear that someone had at least tried to use it. I suspect they ended up having the same problem as

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • I won't say anything

The Inno roof rack was recommended by a kayaker friend who uses it to transport a sea kayak. I already have a Yakima luggage system with deckhand saddles to carry a sea kayak, but I needed something to carry a surf kayak and/or paddle board. I was able to connect the Inno-Rack to my existing Yakima round bars and found it much easier and quicker to load and secure kayaks with the Inno system than the saddle/belt system. The Inno should also offer the flexibility to carry all of my kayaks and…
