InSinkErator DWC 00 Dishwasher Connector Black Review

Okay I must be really bored writing reviews for this product. But it works as intended and I thought I'd at least give some feedback on it. If it's having a significant positive impact on your life, you probably need to go out more, but you'll be happy with what you get.

When you install an insinkerator and hook up a dishwasher, you need it. Yes, fittings from the hardware store or sanitary supply store are certainly a little cheaper, but that would take much longer and it wouldn't be any safer or more airtight. This kit makes it easy.

I bought and set up a new InSinkErator to replace the old one. You do not need this part if your dishwasher is already hooked up to a waste chute. This can be useful if your dishwasher hose is slightly larger or smaller than the InSinkErator dishwasher's connector fitting. It is non-returnable, so please wait to see if you need it before buying.

Need more illustrations of connecting different size hoses with ID. For example, a 3/4" ID HOSE requires a male to 3/4" ID male connector. This particular configuration also requires an additional hose clamp. There is neither a plug nor an additional terminal.

Bought to install a tall hinge and get rid of the gross old air gap system. The piece was slightly cheaper than at Home Depot. It did the job (connected my dishwasher hose to the InSinkerator waste chute) but I gave it 4 stars because the hose clamps that came with it didn't fit properly. Used in place of the old connection to drain the dishwasher into the incinerator. Of course the old drain died and the dishwasher drain line never matched the new drain (the rubber end hardened in the shape of the old drain) so there was a constant small leak. Being able to cut the rubber end of an old dishwasher's drain line and use this new soft rubber kit to reconnect the corrugated plastic drain and the new disposal has fixed that leak.
