    Hacked interior

    Interior does not match my 2DIN touchscreen Chinese stereo also purchased from Revain. I had to cut off about an inch and sand the surface as shown in the picture. All the protrusions on one side were removed so I could only use the seat belts on one side. It took several hours to fix it. It's worth it if you have the time and skills to get it working.

    Not a complete set...

    Judging by the reviews, I'm not the only one who didn't receive the straps. The brackets look good but now the installation is still waiting 2 days while I ordered the wiring pictured but many of us came without. I would have checked below but Revain refunded the money so I could buy the straps at no extra charge. Again... not a full sentence.

    Great for electrical equipment

    I used this kit to install a Pioneer AVH-310EX 6.8" double din stereo system in a 2011 VW Jetta TDI sports car. The fit is so close to Factory made as you would expect for the aftermarket parts. To be honest I don't understand the negative reviews on this product. I almost bought it because of them but I was able to find a good alternative. So I took a chance , because I knew I could give it back without having to , I couldn't be happier.

    Antenna adapter not suitable for Jetta 2014

    Installer fits perfectly. Antenna Adapter WILL NOT WORK ON 2014 BW JETTA, DOUBLE ANTENNA ADAPTER REQUIRED NOT SINGLE. I had to go to Best Buy and deposit $15 for the right one. The wiring harness worked but note that on the MK6 both 12v supplies are always hot. Therefore, connecting the red wire to the cigarette lighter fuse is a must, or the stereo will have to be turned off manually.

    Not for standard double din radio! TERRIBLE PREPARATION!

    The double din radio measures 180mm x 100.3mm and this frame has an aperture of 173mm x 99mm; NO standard 2 DIN radio will fit. The double noise has been around for a long time, what were you thinking? Some people made it fit or considered installing a built-in radio because it didn't fit in the panel; I'm sorry for you. If the hole was right the radio could sit flush and be very neat, but unfortunately don't buy this if you want an easy, no fuss installation.

    Perfect! good for lighting and electrics

    I ordered this when I installed the Pioneer AppRadio 4 in my 2010 VW Jetta. The quality of the materials is excellent. The finish perfectly matches the finish around him. All attachment points are present. Just a solid machine. It looks like it came from the factory. The fit of the radio is comfortable and looks very good. I wanted to buy it from Crutchfield but it was cheaper at Revane. I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade the head unit in their

    Garbage. Period. in Lighting & Electrical

    This item is unsatisfactory. I tried 2 different radios (double din and single din) and one complete failure. The bezel seems too narrow and doesn't match the face of the radio. When installing it in the machine itself, I haven't gotten that far yet. I probably should have chosen the Metra brand, knowing Scosche's reputation and experience with their previous products, but Revain recommended the exact fit for my 2014 VW Jetta. I'm not even sure if it's worth returning the product as it costs $6

    Works as expected in my 2015 VW Beetle

    Overall I am happy with everything I received and how it fits in my 2015 Beetle. Not sure if it's an AVH-X390BS or a mounting plate but I was expecting the radio to be flush but it's a little recessed. The tape recorder is slightly larger than the hole in the mounting plate. I could change it, but I decided that everything is fine. The speaker connector VW03B fits into the wiring harness as expected. The antenna cable is a single input connection, not a dual input connection, and it works well.
