Purchased to replace a less powerful card in an HP Z3 laptop. Once I figured out where it was (it was under the M.2 boot disk) the swap was quick. Be careful when disconnecting and reconnecting tiny wireless antenna connections. Warning: It comes without drivers, and at least on Windows 10, the drivers are not automatically installed in the Catch-22 scenario: you don't have an internet connection. Download the necessary drivers to connect to the Internet. In my case I just plugged in the cable…

Tiny card, big speed

I recently upgraded my wireless network to 802.11AX. To maximize utility, I hooked it up to an Asus Z270i Strix board that comes with a so-so Qualcomm 802.11AC + BT card. I got this model without an Intel vPro Control Kit because my processor (Core i7 7000 series) doesn't even have vPro and as a home user I don't need it anyway. The product arrived in an envelope the next day. , inside was a box, and inside was a plastic sleeve, similar to what Intel uses to package its processors when it…

True plug n play on my board, impressive performance

I bought this to install in a custom mini-ITX build I plugged into an old Atari 2600 case via USB 3 WiFi antenna from a high quality but as yet unnamed tech company, it wasn't a cheap antenna. This build is intended to be used as a multimedia/retro gaming machine for the living room, so having an extra device on the TV stand adds extra dust and visual clutter. We bought this model because it supports Wi-Fi 6 and offers plug-ins from Intel. -play supports my motherboard chipset. This was a good…

Works with AMD processor inside

I have a Lenovo A285 and this card worked fine. The laptop comes with Ryzen 5 Pro. It automatically installed drivers and other things but not the latest ones so I just downloaded them from Intel's website and everything works fine. It worked fine with automatically installed drivers, but I wanted to get rid of the Bluetooth lag. Note that there are separate drivers for Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. I got this so I can get rid of some lag from bluetooth headphones. It didn't work for that. Perhaps the…

Works only for computers and accessories

I have two of these cards on two different systems. The systems are (so-called refurbished - not really) HP Prodesk 600 G3 desktops. Installation was pretty easy as this platform has optional M.2 Wi-Fi. .In one case, Windows 10 Pro automatically recognized the appropriate driver and installed it immediately, in the other not. Easily solved by manually downloading and installing the driver from Intel website. It may have been the version of the Windows 10 base images on each system. The…

High speed, does NOT come with propeller.

I bought this AX200 card and the card itself is great. I have a 1 gigabyte connection at home and this card gives me download speeds of around 800Mbps over Wi-Fi. The only thing is that no screw is included. So if you don't already have a screw for your laptop, motherboard, or whatever you're installing, you'll need to get a screw or buy one of those cards that already have one. It's just a token.

Excellent upgrade for a very low price

Just came in a plain box with no instructions or drivers. But in my case it is plug n play and it took me about 5 minutes to install it after showing a youtube video. I used to use Intel ac m2 adapter with Netgear Orbi rbk53 mesh router. My main router is in my living room with two RC walls between my bedroom where the satellite and my desk are. I got about 400 Mbps from fast.com in my bedroom. After upgrading to this and asus zenwifi xt8 I got over 600 MP. And all WiFi connections are much…
