my indispensable assistant in daily cleaning

Greetings friends and guests of the site . After three months of active operation of the iRobot Braava Jet m6 washing robot vacuum cleaner, I share my impressions of the new assistant in the house. The robot vacuum cleaner has been around for a long time. At the beginning, the IRobot Roomba S9 + robot vacuum cleaner was bought. Don't cross the threshold. Cannot join maps.

As it does not cross the thresholds that connect different areas of our wooden floors, the cards will not connect. The block must be picked up and moved to each area.

Fill the tank and then click on clean

This product will be withdrawn from the club stock because it is defective. The sensors will cause the device to fail. "Fill tank then press flush" is the norm, even if you fill up. I called support, they promised another block and that was two months ago! It's in reserve. Avoid.

Works best in vacuum cleaners

A mop is expected to move dirt so when this mopping pad gets dirty it only spreads dirt and leaves streaks for an hour. I really wanted this thing to work! Lots of pet hair accumulates so it's not a total loss but if I hadn't thrown the box I would have returned it.

Sticks more than expected. Requires light to function properly.

Stuck more times than expected and doesn't work well in low or low light conditions. I set the robot vacuum to clean at 11:30 every night and if I don't leave a light or two on it never finishes and reports stuck. If I leave the light on overnight, it usually turns off with no problem. Locked in the bathroom a few times, but now I use the door lock and it seems this problem is solved.

Customization not possible!

The first delivery I had to contact tech support. Two hours later, the techie decided that the tank would not work on the model. They then sent me a replacement car which did not arrive within 12-16 days as promised but 24 days later while I was on holiday. Now I've put together a replacement and returned the original, but I'm having a lot of trouble getting the app to recognize the new device. I'm completely frustrated with the process and am trying to get it back.

Much dumber robot than Roomba

1. I was specifically looking for a black model to match our Roomba. I also received a white model.2. I wrongly assumed that the device could use the same maps as the Roomba we bought because it uses the same app. Our Braava is a bit dumber than the Roomba. He often gets stuck on smaller objects and does not return home when work is started in another room. He needs a lot more hands than the other robot. So disappointed: robot vacuum cleaner

I wanted to love it! I bought one and it shipped and it was defective and the Revain was fantastic in that regard. They were on the line with a manufacturer who was never on the line. Revain sent another. The new one indicated better, but gave more error codes afterwards than the first one. I spent more time rebooting, checking for error codes, and rebooting again only to get a different error code. He also wiped down my sturdy carpet, which he shouldn't have done but only did once. iRobot vacuums are awesome, but mops still have a lot to offer. Check back in a few years.

Summary: I love my Roomba i7+ and based on this experience I have chosen a Braava jet m6 for mopping kitchen, dining and bathroom floors. Unfortunately, the Braava jet m6 doesn't seem to be as smart as its vacuum cousin, often skipping areas and not being able to navigate all but the smallest partition (threshold) rather than carpet.
