Great value for the homeowner

I've cut about 1/3 of the house with this blade and it works great with a cheap ski saw. Buy 2 more to complete the work. Worth the money for a homeowner

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • No automatic

Great for cutting hardboard

I ordered this saw blade specifically for cutting hardboard, cement and fiber siding. This blade worked well and was worth the price.

Pros
  • Good item
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Dulls quickly best in power tools and hand tools

This blade works great with a heavy duty carrier. The downside is that it gets pretty boring after about 20 cuts. If you don't use it for big projects, it's great. If you have a lot of cutting to do, you may need two blades.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Empty

Well made and cut straight

Used for about 5 cuts in carbide plates. Worked well and cut smoothly. I can't comment on durability as I haven't made many cuts. I'm telling you it was the best money I've spent so I didn't have to cut through the cement board with a utility knife.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Quality

Good for work

Used to install a pad on a 22 foot tall chimney wall. Should cut about 100 linear feet with no problems. I used to use a regular blade and oh my god dust. That was great. Super clean cuts (I used WonderBoard), little dust. Can't wait for another backing project as it was so easy.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Excellent blade for cutting fairings only

This blade is only suitable for cutting 5/16 fairings. I recently closed on my carport and needed a cheap knife to install about 50 strong side panels and some 5/4 corner boards. For the price, this blade does a great job. Obviously this isn't a blade for everyday use, it's $12. This blade is really great for small projects. It does not replace your Diablo blade. I also wouldn't recommend cutting too many boards to length or cutting anything more than 3/8 thick.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in black only
