Instead of buying longer terminals, these connectors allow two terminals to work together. They are made of plastic and are therefore a bit flexible. Not bad, but metal couplers would be better. Good value for money.

This item is not suitable for heavy or regular clamps, at least not light, I find it completely useless and I never use it, it just sits in a drawer, don't be a cheap skate and buy a clamp that's the right size man I ended up having to anyway and as a real cheap skateboard I can tell you I hated spending money on this piece of junk!

Suitable for medium requirements. Doubling the clamp length with this adapter increases flexibility over the total length. If you need clamps larger than 24" with "reliable" clamping force, use pipe clamps. Again, they work well here, but the claimed 300lb clamp force for a single 24" clamp is definitely questionable when you're running it with double this adapter.It definitely adds flexibility.

I first bought IRWIN QUICK-GRIP 1964758 One Hand Mini Rod Clamp 4 packs and then I bought two of these IRWIN QUICK-GRIP Medium Duty Clamps 1964750. I didn't know that medium-duty clamps do not fit MINI rod clamps. I didn't realize there was a difference between being new to this tool and Irwin tools. Just so newbies don't make the same mistake I did.
