Description of ISpring RCC1UP AK Performance Filtration Remineralization

QUALITY 7-STAGE FILTRATION: This Reverse Osmosis (RO) water filtration system removes up to 99% of over 1,000 harmful contaminants like chlorine, fluoride, lead (removes up to 98%), arsenic, asbestos, calcium, sodium, and more. BOOSTER PUMP: Reverse Osmosis produces filtered drinking water by pressurizing water molecules through RO membrane and leaving impurities out. Equipped with an electric booster pump enables standard RO performance regardless of pressure variations; delivering higher throughput with less wastewater in comparing to pumpless models. UV FILTER STAGE: The UV stage comes with a smart Flow Sensor Switch turns the UV unit on and off with 3 minutes delay automatically with water flow, saving power and lengthening the life of the UV lamp. FEATURES: Come with European-Style brushed nickel kitchen faucet with the rust-free finish. The 1st stage has see-through housing that enables convenient visual inspection of filter condition. Our water filter features 3 pre-filters (to remove large contaminants and protect RO filter from chemicals) (RO) filter (to remove contaminants down to 0.0001 microns), and (AK) filter to finally restore just the right proportion of healthy minerals and a natural balance. DO-IT-YOURSELF INSTALLATION: Typically, in a couple of hours with industry-leading help just a phone call away. Fits under a standard kitchen sink, with all parts included and instructions and videos. For leak-free installation, simply push the tubing into quick-fitting connectors and lock; no threading pipes needed. iSpring water softener is equipped with quality components to ensure reliability and low maintenance for many years to come.

Unstable water quality. :(

Tap water is intermittent and measures between 65 and 180 TDS. When I drink water it irritates my throat. I tried calling customer service on the number listed in the reviews and they gave me " out 'given in stock' but I called around noon on Saturday. It looks like the faucet has a small leak in the center of the faucet (where there are no fittings). Also, I was disappointed that the supplied parts did not match the video Looks like my kit had cheaper parts.

Malfunction? (Or just really loud)

Easy assembly and flushing. However, one strange problem and two big problems. 1) Big problem 1. With the UV plugged in, the first glass of water tastes awful after sitting for a while. Turning off UV fixed the issue. 1) Major problem 2. The flush valve on the drain line makes a very loud hiss when the pump is on. I hope this is just a defective valve and not a sign of general quality. 2) Strange problem - when the pump is running, water is thrown out of the drain line in 3-4 large bursts…

Don't buy the best in under sink and countertop filtration

Installed less than a week ago. I have white particles and a film on the water flowing from the faucet. I've done a full flush/filter change 6 times on startup with no fixes. The water tastes bad, white floaters and an oily film on top. And NO customer support. Any money you save by buying it will be lost if you hire a plumber to try and fix it. Their customer service number is a cell phone that is "currently unavailable" and their customer service website is a form with required fields, one of

Much better than paying a company to install it

Reverse osmosis system is great and at a great price. We had someone pick a different brand and they offered us $1300 for a much simpler model. I really like this system. However, I had a few problems. The instructions are very difficult to understand but I found a YouTube video that helped me a lot. The one you send to watch isn't for this model that has more than that, but it's pretty easy to understand. I also did not take into account the need to connect this type. own fault. I assumed…

It tastes great! Might be good water for a steamer.

I connected it to two taps. Standard valve after UV and mineralizer and a second valve before the mineralizer by installing a tee and a second valve in the line. This provides only very pure reverse osmosis deionized water, which is great for steam irons, humidifiers and for mixing window cleaners. Here are my results for measuring water pH and dissolved solids in parts per million. PH PPMTap 7.55 - 7.64 190RO 7.27 - 7.35 3RO+M 10.34 - 10.50 25 The unit adds small amounts of minerals and alkali

550ppm to 25-40ppm. I will take it.

Current Installation: Well water passes through water softener and sump filter, readings recorded at 550-600ppm. After this installed block, 25-40 ppm will be registered. Proven 22ppm bottled water so I'll go with well water. Very clean taste. Not only does this save us from buying water, it also saves us the time it takes to fill more than 12 gallons at a time. Should pay off in two or three years. Furthermore, the purchase of an upgraded to this improved unit specifically for the booster…

Clean and great-tasting water Filtering and water softener

I don't know what's in our tap water, I suspect an unusually high level of chlorine, but whatever it is, my stomach upsets me right after I've drunk it. That's why we've been buying Costco bottled water to drink for a number of years. In summary, with the money we spent on bottled water, we could probably buy three of these devices. After going through the commissioning procedure in the manual (be sure to read all the instructions, part of the key information is one sentence), this water supply

Great product and smooth installation

Installation went smoothly and took a little longer than expected but again I've never done this before. There was at least one minor bug related to a missing feed water valve which was quickly and swiftly replaced by tech support. Now I'm waiting to contact tech support again with what appears to be a non-working UVC ballast. There appear to be two indicator lights inside that will tell you if the UVC ballast is working when it is detected flowing through. However, I have never seen an…

8 hours after installation this seems like a great system.

After 8 hours of installation this seems like a great system. Situation: I recently moved into my dream home on a piece of land in the Texas Hill Country. We have well water here with a softening system. My under-counter ice maker, from which I typically pull a 5-gallon bucket of ice each day, produced little more than a gallon or two of ice in my new home with bad water. Research has led me to the realization that these ice machines require more water than most reverse osmosis systems and…
