Failed the second cut.

Tried to cut 2" 1/8" wide steel with this blade. The first haircut was ok. The second cut failed, the mandrel holder broke and the blade was off-center.

Works perfectly so far.

Works exactly as expected. I mounted it on a radial hand saw and used it to cut out the styrofoam. Not quite as intended so I can't comment on how it will cut metal or how long it will last. Could use a little more packaging to keep it safe in the box.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Bad instructions

Worked fine on my radial saw.

I used this on my radial saw. It worked great - put out a massive amount of sparks that let me know it was cutting. I should have photographed it. I made sure to vacuum up the sawdust around the saw first (so there wasn't a tree) and made sure to put on goggles and a helmet.

Pros
  • While satisfied
Cons
  • The list will be long.

This did the work for me!

I have never used a blade like this so this is my first experience. I put it on my standard saw and had to cut through a 3" hollow steel beam. Cuts like butter. I don't know how long it will last but it seems very durable. I've barely touched it so I'm giving it away!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • So-so

An excellent blade as a continuation of metal cutting on table saws.

Excellent cutting blade. I use it to cut the aluminum insert plate of a table saw to allow for a riving knife. After placing it in my table saw after setting it to the actual position, I guide the bit with the guide and it cuts the groove perfectly. This has upgraded my table saw to accommodate the rare occasion I need to cut metal. Yes, care must be taken because of the sparks generated when cutting. The task of removing/cleaning all sawdust from a table saw is a must to prevent a fire. The…

Terrible: Most likely a quality control issue

I thought the price of a 10" cut-off wheel was pretty low but I realized that a cut-off wheel is a cut-off wheel - how can they screw it up? Make a hole so far from the center that it can't be used, here's how. The peg hole is noticeably off center by about an eighth of an inch! No wonder it vibrates so much! They could have made a blade with an off-center hole, I would have noticed that immediately upon visual inspection, but never dreaming that they could make a blade with such a defect, it…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
