Fixing over 20 holes in my dash, pillar trim and side panels, some left

I used this to fill hardware holes in my auction truck that I bought about a year ago. It was used by the police here in Texas and when they removed all the lights, radios and cameras it was left with over 20 holes. I removed all the trim, cleaned and filled all the holes with this putty. The next morning I sanded them down and prepared them for painting. Several manufacturers have plastic and vinyl finishes that match the interior color exactly. After painting you never know where the holes…

  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Mixed results but in the end the price is worth it

I use this to repair some plastic panels in the car where the connectors are cracked or even missing. I've found this plastic good for molding thick missing parts (like the entire cleat bushing) but seems almost useless for reinforcing an existing cleat bushing - my work was too fine to use this material. Then I found that epoxy works great at reinforcing an existing bar socket, but terrible when trying to replace missing material. So use this plastic to mold the missing pieces, then epoxy to…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Dries late but works

Should be fully cured in 25 minutes. what a bunch of bs. 6 hours later it is still soft like a soft powder. I ironed it until I got a uniform color as instructed, but it's still crap. Very disappointed, never liked the regular WB Weld but this one is just as good. thumbs down for me Okay, I'm revising my review, I resumed it 2 days later and was impressed with the end results for two reasons: It was strong but also flexible. I put both stud eyes on the tail light of a BMW X3 and saved the price

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • No instructions

This is truly an amazing material for many uses!

This material is great for a variety of shapes. It doesn't smell as unpleasant as traditional epoxy. It also rinses out fairly easily. It has the consistency of thick clay but becomes much more malleable as you work with it. I use it on RC models but it has many uses. I can confirm that when it dries it adheres very well to the plastic. I really like the setup time. You can shape it like clay and it will keep that shape easily, but you will have plenty of time to adjust it before it fully…

Worked great. for fillers, adhesives and sealants

Worked very well. I used this to fix some broken mounting points in the laptop, it was hard work getting putty where I wanted it in such a small space, but once I got the first piece in place I just kept adding a thinner layer added it was built. and gently pressed, added as much as possible (in space) and then I made sure that when you reassemble the laptop you can still screw the tiny screws into the attachment point (1 wasn't aligned). I reopened the laptop as needed I made sure everything…

Pros
  • Fits me great
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Great so far! for fillers, adhesives and sealants

13 months in our brand new house with brand new appliances and of course our microwave door voids the guarantee. They said they would replace the parts in good faith, but we would have to pay for a service visit ($99). I figured there must be another way to fix this. I disassembled everything and didn't have time to buy a new door, I was a little at a loss. Well I figured if I could put some putty in the hole to hold that screw in place (because the plastic inside was totally destroyed) and…

Pros
  • trial period for one year
Cons
  • vulgarity

Sticks well, stays a little flexible

It's not as hard as SteelStik (dark gray putty from JB Weld) but very very sticky. I needed to fix the steam mop handle and when I took it apart I saw it was ABS (thanks to the >ABS< symbol on it - Sherlock Holmes, I'm not Sherlock Holmes) so I glued the edges black for which I Glue had ABS pipes. It was probably almost as strong as before, but not very strong, so I took some putty and attached the inside of the handle around the break. I've also experimented by applying bits of putty to…
