Great HDMI/Ethernet Extender

We bought this extender to replace a 4 year old wireless HDMI transceiver that initially worked fine but has had intermittent use lately Video streaming or the picture was intermittent turns green! We needed an extension cable to extend an HDMI signal from a home theater receiver through a 17-foot-wide room to a flat-screen TV hanging over a fireplace (a direct HDMI cable connection would require over 50 feet of cable from the home theater). receiver inside). through the wall, through the attic

Expensive compared to other options but works great for 4K with HDR

First I bought a 4K 4:2:0 model (not HDR compatible) to capture the signal from my 4K Blu - player ray to my new QLED 65". I thought $125 was a steep price but I couldn't resist. I couldn't get the video to stream unless I had the video quality significantly in the device's settings degraded what is really expected to the specs of the non HDR pair so I took a deep breath and bought the 4:4:4 HDR model for double the price and the video streams nice and flawless I've been using them for over a…

Didn't work for me - Accessories and Supplies

I have a Vizio E65-F1 4K TV above my fireplace and I have 2 50ft HDMI cables pre-run and some Cat5e Cable. move into my house. My components are in a cable in the back of my living room. Never had a problem until I got 4K Directv and the 4K Vizio TV 1080P signal worked great over a 50ft cable. So before I get this item I buy an HDMI repeater, one is behind the TV and the second one I got later is on the source. Note that the installation is 6 years old. I also use a 4K switch since all my…

Ms. is finally happy - both televisions work

We have all home cinema equipment in the living room on the entertainment console and the television is in the dining room. I routed the HDMI cable and IR repeater through the basement floor and into the dining room, into the TV wall. The trail isn't that long, about 60-70 feet, but it has given us problems over the years. I used different active signal boosters etc and it worked for a while until it stopped and had to be restarted a bit etc. When we upgraded each TV to 4k the cable was out of…

Pros
  • There's something to that

  • Minor problems
