Great value for money

I work in a workshop and needed a new hood. After asking some people at work and searching online, this seemed like the best option for the money I was willing to spend. I got it on sale for $100. It has a wider field of vision than the classic Miller model at the same price and a more comfortable head mount than some of the more expensive range hoods. At the moment I have about 40 hours with it and so far it works perfectly, the clarity is excellent. . From semi-finished products to…

Not only great for the price, it's a great period helmet!

This is the first ADF cover I've used and I love it. Choosing a shade is very simple. The helmet itself is quite light but durable. The headgear is the best. Adjusting the height/base of the helmet is easy with the adjusters at the top or crown, just like a regular snap-on adjustable baseball cap. The ratchet back is very stable and makes it easier to put on and take off the helmet. It also has a headband angle adjuster on the body. Depending on whether you're wearing a respirator or not, you…

Best value for money in safety and protection

Light weight, auto-darkening works perfectly. I've used it on a stick, flash and even a 20 amp wig with no problems. I compared this lens hood to the optrel crystal 2.0 and although it was better in some aspects, for the price of this lens hood it's just amazing value. The resolution was just as sharp and clear as long as you hold a clean lens. Never had problems with flickering. I had two problems; The top part of the headgear comes off easily, I fixed this by taping over it (as you don't need

Cheap Cheap Cheap the best head protection

I have been using Jackson welding hoods for 50 years and when I thought they couldn't get any cheaper they did. This hood looks like it came out of a car dealership. No structure, just dangling like a piece of rubber. The top band won't stay in place, even long enough to try it on! It has (2) pins that snap into holes like a baseball cap strap to adjust the fit on your head. Doesn't stay locked even for an adjustment! The hood does not reach low enough to cover the chin and place the lens in…

Great welding helmet at a great price.

I couldn't afford the $200 welding helmet I had my eye on so bought it instead when I saw it at a great price. I've been using it for 9 months now and I'm very happy with it. Insight's auto-dimming filter is really good. Four sensors arranged around the lens ensure reliable switching. Lots of customization options to fine-tune to your needs. It even works with inverter machines, which doesn't darken my cheaper lens. The headgear is very comfortable, fixed in the up or down position and easy to…
