This helmet saved my head from a nasty fall and still works great. The sizing is suitable for adults (unlike other brands that claimed they are 'big' but they are still too small). They are indeed certified for cyclists, skateboarders, etc. We recommend.

I'm usually skeptical about the size of baby protective gear. This was no exception, the size chart was seriously lacking. My child is 8 years old, about 4ft 6 inches tall and weighs 45 pounds. Skinny by most reviews. The medium-sized helmet fits perfectly on his head. Would have given 5 stars if the product description was better informed of the sizes. Overall a high quality helmet!

I ordered Adult Medium. This thing is so ridiculously small it doesn't even come close to fitting on my 8 year old son's head. It's so tiny I don't think even a large adult would fit on an 8 year old's head. This average adult helmet is significantly smaller than the youth helmets it spawned from and should be a replacement. We bought 2 orange helmets, both are size S. Well to our surprise, one is much larger than the other, although both helmets have an S label on the inside as you can see in the Picture! Choose the largest helmet size. There is an adjustable handle for a better fit. It's fragile, so turn it slowly and carefully. It can get stuck in the styrofoam padding, so use your index finger and gently push the tip down towards the chin straps while your other hand adjusts the grip. The handle should rotate easily after unlocking. You will understand what I mean. The helmet is very light, flat, looks solid and is well made. Its design allows good air circulation, making it comfortable and cool to wear. I have a 22.5" head so I bought a large one and it fits perfectly. To tighten it slightly forward and back I turn the adjustment knob a maximum of 3 or 4 clicks.
