Effortless DIY Streaming Adapter

This easy-to-use and affordable adapter is perfect for anyone seeking a quick solution to stream Industrial and Scientific content. The open source design allows for customization and flexibility... However the adapter may lack some advanced features that more experienced users might want. Overall, the Jeff Probe Open Source Flirc is a great choice for DIY enthusiasts looking for quality and affordability..

Pros
  • Provides customization and flexibility through open source technology.
Cons
  • Requires technical knowledge to fully utilize the product.

Terrible Connectivity Issues with Open Source Flirc

According to my experience, this wiring and connecting device was a hassle to set up and constantly disconnected during use. The open source aspect was not worth the headache and frustration..

Pros
  • None that I could find
Cons
  • Connectivity issues, difficult setup process

Good cheaper alternative to the Black Magic Probe

Great little debug probe, comparable to the official Black Magic Probe with a less powerful microcontroller. However, the price reflects this. Of course you can always flash the BMP firmware on a cheap stm32 development board, but I would rather buy one because it has a very compact form factor and also has a handy UART port.

Pros
  • Open source and open hardware
Cons
  • Requires a power outlet
