🔩 JessEm Jig 8350 with 3/8 inch Guide Bushings, Drill Bit, Stop Collar & Pin Review

This is by far the best dowel setting tool I have ever used. I bought this to make matching connectors for extension style dining table aprons. After using it to drill three holes on each side, a set of round dowels and a matching set of sockets, the two halves of the skirt lined up perfectly when the table was pushed back.

This is the fourth dowel driver I have owned over the years. It is well made and comes with a helpful guide. I also watched their YouTube videos before using them for the first time. Having created a project that requires 88 dowel holes in 14 pieces of wood I can say this is fast and accurate even for a new user. Yes, it costs a bit more than some dowel fasteners, but it's a cut above anything I've ever used and holds 88 dowel holes. Looking at the first project done with this light, the JessEM

First of all I want to say that I have been looking for this product for a long time because there have always been others that were not In the middle I would like I say a big thank you guys for selling this product here at Revain, superb quality, precision and fit. My only disappointment is that they only make it in inches and someone who does cabinet making should be more accurate with measurements so I would recommend they do it in mm in the future and trust me you will have a lot more sales

Very well done and the picture doesn't match this light. It has positive locks on the back set every 1/8th of an inch, it's solid and very heavy, and its center guides and numbers are easy to read, even with my poor eyesight. I should have bought the full set of 1/2" and 1/4" dowel guides instead of just the 3/8" set. I had to upgrade my dowel driver for years. Before that I used a very basic Bench Dog mount that worked great but was limited to only drilling two holes before repositioning and only 3/8" from the board surface (ideal for the typical 3/4).
