Jewel Concave Sheffield England Stamped Review

Very good blade and very sharp. I'm a roofer and bought these blades out of curiosity. I was curious to see how well they would work for cutting shingles. I just finished a big project and one blade was enough for the whole job. They cut tiles fantastically.

I work with leather and have found that I prefer the pulling action of a curved blade for many applications. I have a small X-Acto setup for detailed editing, but I needed something for bulk editing. These blades are excellent. I have used the first blade for many cuts. I sling it fairly regularly and it's still very sharp. I may not live long enough to take advantage of all this.

Although this blade technically fits most knives, the locking holes are slightly off-center. This means the back of the blade is shorter than the standard blade and the front is longer. With some knives (I've collected a few over the years and have a large enough sample to test) this causes a problem or two.
