I was a little nervous after reading the reviews and many people complaining about the size of this jewelry box. But it was absolutely perfect for my niece (age 7) as a birthday gift! It's about the size of a jewelry box I had when I was her age. Not the song that was listed in the description but still beautiful!

Too bad I didn't read the size reviews. Nice design but very small. While I wasn't expecting fantastic quality with inferior materials and workmanship at this price point, I suspect it won't last long. It will work for our purpose, but I'd recommend spending just a few bucks on a larger, more durable version, especially for younger kids.

Very small. The drawer is easy to open. Although I have a feeling that it can easily break. I have no idea what tune is playing, it's not over the rainbow. I bought a unicorn and an African American ballerina for my two girls. I love that they have an African American ballerina option as there aren't many of them. Overall I think this would make a great gift for young girls.

I bought this unicorn music box for my 4.5 year old granddaughter. she loved it! She knows she has to be careful when you wind it up, but she loves to wind it up and watch the unicorn spin and listen to the music. She immediately filled it with her favorite decorations and placed it in pride of place in her room. I don't think a smaller box would be worth the price. but it has an extra drawer.

Maybe I didn't read the description carefully enough, but it's a lot smaller than it looked. I can hold it in my palm. It doesn't fit much at all and there are other jewelry boxes on Amazon for the same price that have a size comparison on their pictures that are larger. I would probably return this and order something else or pay a little more for something - something that will actually hold my daughter's stuff.

Perfect as a Christmas present for a 4 year old who is just starting to collect jewelry. The extra drawer is a nice addition for toddlers who are always interested in opening extra drawers. The spinning unicorn music is perfect. Since it is a Christmas present, she won't get it for 3 months.
