A nice addition to my kitchen

This unique set of spoons and forks works great. I use a spoon for olives, lupini beans, maraschino cherries, and other small bottled foods, and a fork works great for cucumbers, cumin peppers, and other bottled peppers. A handcrafted addition to your kitchen.

  • So-so

Reusable Food Storage Tool

I originally bought this for olives but then decided to use it for canning beans. This works great for extracting floating beans or shells. I pass this on to all my conservative friends. The fork on the back works well for keeping my husband out of the kitchen while I canning.

Useful tool in the kitchen

This is one of those handy kitchen tools that you probably won't use that often, but when you do need it you'll be glad to have it. I've only used it a few times on canned olives and pickles. The slotted spoon drains the liquid but only scoops one olive at a time. I'm ok with this because it's better than any other way I've tried. I love the color too!

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Now it's so easy to get olives and pickles from jars.

I love olives in my salads so I buy tall jars of olives from Sam's Club and this spoon with drainage holes is great for scooping tall olives out of jars. I used a large spoon but got plenty of juice and even then the olive rolled but not with that spoon and fork. The fork is small and attaches to the back of the spoon so you can always find it. A spoon works best with smaller olives, but it works well with larger ones as well.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Legacy Model

A simple but very useful tool. Bought for all my friends

I bought one of these for myself from the store and went back and bought two more for friends. They liked it. This makes it easy to get cucumbers and olives out of the jars. Behind the bucket is a detachable lance fork. What a great idea. Anyway, there weren't any left in the store, so I bought two more from Revain for more friends. And now I understand that another friend would like it, so I will order another one. Joseph Joseph makes products with a "good idea” and this is definitely one of…

Great idea and it looks like the perfect hunt for olives.

Great idea and looks like the perfect olive extractor, but it's actually a flop. The end of the spoon is too big and the sides are so high that you can't turn it over to pick up the olives. It just grabs the olives when you try to maneuver the convex end of the spoon. I haven't gotten a single olive out of the jar with him, not one! If you only had a few pieces left at the bottom, you might be able to pull them out, but ONLY in this case. And the little fork is difficult to take off and very…

I use it all the time!

I cook with capers a lot and whoever decides that the neck of EVERY BRAND should be 1 inch wide obviously doesn't use capers. This little gem saved my sanity! Glass in a bowl so you don't lose the liquid by scooping out what you need and then trying to return the rest in the glass through the ridiculous hole without sloshing the liquid onto the counter (because capers don't fit through a funnel , Naturally). For the price, this is very valuable! And it has a tiny fork for baby pickles and other

Well thought out and very useful.

well thought out and very useful. An optional sole fork that snaps into the handle expands the possibilities. It's easy to take olives or pickles out of the jar, as well as capers, minced garlic, peppers and more. Anything you can't just hook in with a shovel-shaped spoon, you can still get by using a pickle fork and spoon together. I think if you're buying pickles and stuff in gallon cans there's a limit because the handle isn't 20 inches long. In that case, the following ones will be tricky…
