I think if it can't be used then it's junk. I wouldn't even tighten it, the plastic threads don't allow for tightening the mount without slipping off the threads. Didn't send it back, threw it away!

Unfortunately this switch is made entirely of plastic and doesn't hold securely. You can only tighten it before the thread slips off. Even if you manage to tighten it up a bit after a few uses, it will come loose again

The shifter is plastic with a very important weak spot right where it enters the case. Broke after a day of use. I would not recommend it as a long life switch. Looks nice but cheaply made.

I need a switch for more demanding applications and this switch seems to fit the bill. The only problem is that the plastic strands broke off under heavy hand pressure (not crossed, and I don't have amazing grip strength). Will not rotate in hole until replaced.

Had power outage issues but couldn't figure out why. After 6 months it stopped working at all. I opened it up to see what was going on and it turned out that the seesaw was not making contact on one side. . what it explains.
