Approved for off-road and farm.

Used for the last 3m on my truck and tractor. I've never had any complaints about them. I wrapped mine in duct tape to test the Wx and got back to work.

Doesn't work for my wire gauge

The description says you need to break the inner tabs to fit a specific wire gauge but not for me. If you have 24 gauge wire that might be fine. for you, but you should not use more.

Wire 18g - no. Fits cam connector

Product does not fit 18g wire You must strip all external channels to close the connector. A very thin wire (ie 22g) seemed fine on the back of the connector. very disappointed as I thought it would make my wiring job easier. had to go back.

Facilitates line disconnection.

T-Bends. The connector provides a really easy way to add another cable in parallel with the outgoing cable. For my application with three DC switches, I only needed two connections and didn't have to manually tie any lines. These ports effortlessly took care of all connections, keeping everything clean and easy to manage.

OK but don't expect most 18 AWG

I bought two types of 18 AWG wire to use with this. The second one I bought was looking for something with very thin insulation. However, he didn't even come close to this connector. I had to shave off the insulation to fit the plug (which completely defeats the whole purpose of a quick connection). I couldn't shave it anywhere near thin enough to fit in the slit. I can't believe you can find 18 AWG to match. It seems to work fine with 22 AWG in the stub port.
