Overall I like this scraper, just wish the razor blade had a bit more edge retention. Be that as it may, the blade tends to bend too easily, making the scraper difficult to use.

This is a one-piece scraper Metal rods are strong and heavy for durability. I would suggest a wider blade but this one does the job and has a strong steel head and tool-less thumbscrews. He also uses blades that are available locally.

The handle is very strong and heavy. Which is very good. I had one of the screws snap off a bit (machine damage) What I didn't like is that the razor that came with it is very thin. And I don't like that you can't use single blade razors

God, this thing is a dream come true! A 125 gallon tank can never take care of the greens the way I want, but this guy scrapes it like a light shave. And Africans eat mean vegetables and love them. Dropped two other scrapers, history of easy tank cleaning, wow!

I tried different products to get the algae off the aquarium glass but nothing worked. Everything about this order was well packaged. This item is flexible enough to be used throughout the tank without too much fuss, and it will scrape anything with minimal effort. So happy to finally find something that works!

I bought this tool to remove algae from the walls of nano aquariums. It came with blades and two extensions. Since my tanks are small, I don't need extensions, but they'll come in handy if I ever get deeper/taller tanks. My only recommendation would be that the manufacturer put some form of cover or protection on the blades during storage.

Works as advertised - much easier than sticking your hand in the tank! Well I really like it and I use it all the time. I strongly recommend this. My only caveat is the same as the others - this item must come with a lid. It's basically just a stick with a razor blade, the kind of thing a kid would play with. Very dangerous!

This item really works. It removes algae from the glass. it is also very well built in terms of design. Now for the bad. Razor blades are very thin. Blades of the type used in old razors I'm not sure where to find a replacement other than Amazon. I almost cut the pad of my finger installing the blade.
