Mainly purchased for work. I work outside 90% of the time, so I need a comfortable, waterproof, with great soles. The toe box is just right and great ankle support.
Pros
I bought these for my husband and he LOVES them!!! Worth the investment!!!!
Probably one of the best pair of shoes I’ve had so far. I have plantar fasciitis. This pair of shoes is probably the best pair I bought so far for arch support. It took probably four days before I got them broken in. Quality shoes are not cheap. Worth the money.
Pros
The Bridger Low B-Dry has a roomy toe box that allows your toes to spread out and relax
Cons
The shoes might not have enough ankle padding for support
This is one time where I should have paid attention to the reviews. A lot of people have complained about how narrow and snug these are and well, add one more to the list. I do not have wide feet nor have I ever worn a wide size. Like someone else said, I really wanted to love these shoes because they look awesome! But it has been like trying to love someone whom you know is no good for you. I have tried and tried. They are so tight, they feel like they are strangling your feet. My big toe…
Pros
The shoe is designed with durable stitching that can withstand wear and tear
Overall great hiking shoe. Two things keep it from being perfect. One, the shoe feels very narrow so the sides of my feet feel a bit cramped. Two, the sole is very stiff to the point where my heels actually slide up in the shoe when I walk instead of the bottom flexing. I’m sure in time when they break in this won’t be a problem, but it is annoying to start. Other than that, though very attractive shoe with some great grip.
Pros
The sole is also non-marking, so you won't leave any scuff marks on the trail
Cons
The shoes might not provide enough padding for comfort
Long time keen shoe fan. OBoz are two steps up. Fit like a glove, lightweight and short break in. I would recommend these shoes for day to day wear as well as walking trails.
Pros
Men
Cons
The shoes might not be suitable for water crossings
Only have this shoe for a few days now. The shoe fits as expected, seems well constructed, and is quite comfortable when walking (no hikes yet). The only disappointment is the colour. It is more green than grey. If the colour in the picture was more accurate I would have purchased the canteen brown.
Pros
I AM A BIG GUY AND I AM ON MY FEET ALOT. THIS SHOE IS A GOD SEND. I WILL BE GETTING ANOTHER PAIR
These are the most narrow shoe I’ve even encountered. Great looking shoe and well made. But go a full size up. If you take an 11 order a 12. Trust me, I’m a perfect 11M and I’ve never had such a tight shoe. Ouch!
Pros
The footbed is also designed to wick moisture away from your foot, keeping it dry and comfortable all day long
Cons
The shoes might not be suitable for those with corns or calluses
When first putting these on,I thought they were a bit too tight. But they are leather and need a breaking in period. After wearing for a week , My feet were killing me.Hurting so bad, I alternated every other day for another week. About the best I could do was loosen all the shoestrings to relieve the pressure on the sides of my feet. The width of my feet are E or normal. These shoes are not normal width by a long shot. Its really too bad. They are a top quality built shoe. But because of the…
Pros
This is my second pair of Oboz. These shoes fit and feel like a high end hiking shoes.
Cons
The shoes might not provide enough traction on slippery trails
I have 2 pair of Oboz, 1 Sawtooth and 1 Bridger. Both are terrific shoes, but they run small. (I’d suggest getting a half size bigger than you normally wear.) One diff between the two mystifies me. The Sawtooth laces are so long, I can triple tie them. The Bridger laces are so short, I can’t even double tie. If there’s some rational explanation for that, I’d love to learn it.
Pros
This ensures that the shoe will last for many hikes to come
Cons
The shoes might not provide enough lateral support
Look great feel Great …. I got a half size to small but knew I would send back and totally purchase the correct size knowing how much I liked them due to fit and feel …. if anything they might be a tad narrow footed which fits me just right …. The $150 plus $10 tax is small money if you like QUALITY !
Pros
The Bridger Low B-Dry comes in a range of sizes that are designed to fit most foot shapes and sizes
Cons
The shoes might not be suitable for those with wide feet
These are the best pair of shoes that i've owned and i've tried a lot of the big name hiking shoes. They hold up better and the comfort/arch support is superior to others. I wore my last pair of Oboz about 2-3 years, every day and they still look good but i wanted to convert them to my outdoor work shoes so i bought an identical pair to wear to work, etc. I've never bought the same shoe twice so that says something. I hope they keep making these because I honestly don't know that i would buy…
Pros
The laces are also made of high-quality materials that can withstand rigorous use
The color is not consistent with the picture. They are more of a grayish brown. They are a little tight but hopefully they will stretch out a little. I have not worn them in the rain so I’m not sure if they are water proof.
Pros
The upper is treated with a water-resistant coating that helps to repel water and keep your feet dry
Getting tired of shoes that are comfortable out of the box but don’t last. These are sturdy and well made. Took some time to break in but it was worth it.
I hike on Texas scrabble and these were perfect boots for that. I measured my feet to be 28 cm toe to heel and 11 cm wide (at the widest point). Size 11 wide fit perfectly.Little or no break in needed. They feel like slippers.
This is the second pair of Oboz hiking shoes I've owned, and the quality has remained just as high. These are comfortable, truly waterproof, low-top hiking shoes that are attractive enough to go well with my dad apparel, and do the job of providing dryness and support on the sidewalk or the trail. Everything I've seen in my month of wearing this new pair has proven that Oboz is consistent on their sizing and comfort, and the few deep puddles I've stepped in have let in nary a drop of water…
Pros
The shoe has a gusseted tongue that helps to keep debris out of the shoe while you're hiking
I have always worn heavy hiking boots with steel shanks. They provided great support and protection for the hikes I used to do. However, I don't do those hikes anymore and needed something that was lighter but would still provide good support for my feet. I saw the description and reviews for these Oboz Bridger Low boots and took a chance. The first impression was that these things are stiff. I mean, really stiff. They felt more like road cycling shoes than hikers and I hoped they'd loosen up a
Pros
The shoe has a midsole that offers excellent shock absorption, which is essential when hiking on rocky terrain
