Excellent purchase! Eastern setting!

I have looked at and researched various rods. I'm glad I chose her. My window is 144" wide and has 4 separate windows 84" high. Bought two sticks. Side by side. Husband drilled bolts with a drill. I assume you can use a screwdriver, but I recommend using a drill. These bars have a center retaining hook that provides extra support. Great buy for the money! I would buy this brand and style again. Recommend this choice for your curtains.

  • Excellent overall performance

Too short for me: Home Decor Products

Although the maximum advertised length is 48 inches, the truth is that using a product of this length will result in noticeable sagging due to the lack of internal overlap of two telescoping poles. So it was too short for my purposes. The rods are quite flimsy but otherwise of decent quality, especially for $12. For a small bathroom window - or similar application - I'd say that would be ideal. Unfortunately not strong enough for my 30" wide bedroom window.

Pros
  • Beautiful
Cons
  • There are new competitors

I bought this bar with the Umbra adjustable brackets and they fit together perfectly. I've had him for almost a year now. and holds without problems. I have four light sheer curtains on this rod that I keep moving and the rod always stays in place. For such a price, a very high quality cornice. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. I have attached a picture of this cornice and bracket.

Unreliable and unusable for a month

Very disappointed. I ordered this product and a smaller one so I can have matching curtain rods in my kitchen. If this product can't hold curtains, what's the point? I used the included installation hardware, and within a month it's practically hanging on the wall and about to fall off. I have very light linen curtains so it's a shame they don't hold up. I will never order this product again. Now I have to order another catenary as it looks terrible and could collapse at any moment. Do yourself

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Can be damaged

Throw the screws in the bin

Here's a note on these bars. Throw the hardware mounting screws into the trash can. These are the softest and cheapest screws I have ever seen. The center is LIGHTLY drilled. I started the installation with a drill to pre-drill holes and then used it with a screwdriver head to screw on the brackets. NOT CORRECT! First of all, if you buy them, throw all the screws in the trash and buy better screws or you'll have the headache I went through. The ease of installation was a major headache. I would
