Programming was quick and easy. I am attaching a photo of the programming steps. They are listed in the YouTube video description. Even before the purchase I could not open my tailgate. Apparently only the keyless entry button can unlock and let you open the tailgate (what a brilliant idea). The only complaint is that you have to be pretty close for the remote to work. Other than that, it matches the 2004 Buick Rendezvous perfectly. I saved hundreds of dollars on parts and programming.

These great remotes are easy to program and each key fob comes with a small key fob. An instruction card on how to get to the online instructions is included and the online instructions provided are accurate and easy to use. Update: After programming it and using it for 6 months I have to lower my rating from 4 stars to 1. The first one started to fail after about 3 months. Okay, maybe the battery. nope Began to work intermittently. Postponed to 2. Worked for another 3 months, you know what. So they seem to be good for about 3 months. I can't rely on their work. I get locked in my car all the time so I have to keep the broken original in my bag just in case, which sucks. It's awesome! Had to replace my original key

Real product is good. I gave the rating three stars because in some cases, like mine, you cannot program the remotes yourself, you have to take them to a dealer or locksmith to have them programmed. My local Buick dealer told me there would be a $25 programming fee.
