Not useful good for me

Ordered for my bedridden father. Not very useful. Too hard to put in place. Does not slide well against skin. Hard plastic was the better choice to use.

Pros
  • Mobility & Daily Living Aids
Cons
  • Some users may find the inflatable bed pan unappealing or off-putting, leading to a reluctance to use it when needed

Imagine sitting on a latex ballon, and how it would stretch out and pop out on the sides eventually bottoming out. that's what this is like. It is the same quality as a cheap pair of pool water wings, but unlike water wings, when you sit on it, it bottoms out and you don't actually have a pan to catch anything underneath. Good idea, but they need to make this product out of a heavy rubber, like a tire inner tube, that can sustain the pressure of a human being.

Pros
  • The product arrived on time. It looks good. Have not used it yet.
Cons
  • Useless for a heavy immobile man.

Bedridden spouse likes it.

Spouse says it doesn't hurt. It is hard to pull out, but I'm getting used to it. Consider putting the valve on the bottom or side of the pan. Consider putting a small handle on front to aid the pullout. (I realize this would add to the cost of your product.) Pretty good product overall. Better for her skin pain than the plastic one even though it is rounded.

Pros
  • Purchased for my Aunt. She said it helps her tremendously.
Cons
  • Junk

Dual purpose coccyx relief from pressure ulcers

We utilize this product as a cushion to prevent and help heal pressure ulcers.Initially purchased for its advertised use since conventional coccyx bedpans were painful for my small bedridden mother. After 3 months fussing with Medicare for a special mattress and consistently deniedI'm so happy to have discovered the additional benefit!Only partially inflated to prevent pressure and placed under a soft towel it is a daily benefit.

Pros
  • Health & Household
Cons
  • Some users may find it difficult to position themselves properly on the inflatable bed pan, leading to accidents or spills

Good try, But NOT a good bedpan for bedridden patient! ☹

Aired up inflatable bed potty seat! Was dealing with a mess after the device deflated without warning. Good idea but NOT practical!

Pros
  • 5 stars
Cons
  • It may take several attempts to properly inflate the bed pan, which could delay urgent toileting needs

Worked great for me for my mom.

It was a Godsend for us. It is pliable enough to be comfortable but sturdy enough to use as a bed pan. Movement was very difficult for mom and this allowed her to comfortably lie down and have a bm. All of it stayed in the pan and lying on top of it didn't hurt her at all like the fracture pan did. We had no issues with it deflation, ever. Her last months were better for using this inflatable pan!

Pros
  • As a caregiver for an elderly parent this product has been extremely helpful.
Cons
  • Too tall

Easy to use, No spills, like a dream highly recommend!

I have tried other devices and they leaked because I couldn't position them right. I ware a full leg brace to walk, so because I must go at least 2 times in the night, I have to ware my brace while sleeping. The brace causes my skin to break down and the therapist says to go without my brace as much as possible. This bedpan allows me to take my brace off while sleeping. What a relief, my sores are healing. It has been years since I have had a good nights sleep. This is a wonderful product for…

Pros
  • i like it very much........
Cons
  • The pillow part is okay, but the cheap plastic pump broke on the first use.

Unsatisfactory! I purchased this product for my eldery 75 year old father, who was bed ridden for 1 week due to fracture of spinal chord, sciatic nerve pain. he hadnt gone poop for 1 few days and was holding it due to he couldn't walk or sit to go to bathroom. Thought this would work being that it was softer than most bed pans. But it made pain worse! Due to he held it for so long, was able to call 911 for immediate transfer to get immediate transportation and care. It took two calls to 911…

Pros
  • Very comfortable, a little effort to blow up with pump.
Cons
  • Too flimsy for patient to use

Finally a travel option

This is so much comfier than the plastic ones, I hear. This was purchased for my father and he is very grateful for this upgrade!

Pros
  • Easy to use.
Cons
  • The inflatable bed pan may not be sturdy enough to handle heavy use or repeated cleanings

Comfortable and easy to clean.

This was so much more comfortable than the hard plastic ones. My sister stayed with me in hospice until she crossed and this helped make her more comfortable. It was very easy to clean and sanitize.

Pros
  • Best is it's softness and flexibility. Easy to use.
Cons
  • Cheaply made

It was soft and gentle to use when in great pain.

My mother feel and had numerous compression fractures. Pain was an every moment experience. This was the only product we could use. In that moment she was so appreciative that it existed.

Pros
  • Bedpans & Urinals
Cons
  • Those with limited mobility may find it challenging to fully clean or sanitize the inflatable bed pan, leading to hygiene concerns

Makes an excellent planter

This was useless as a bed pan. Patient couldn't get on it.My husband is now using it as a planter. Five stars as a planter. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pros
  • Smooth and easy to clean. The airtight is closed and can be plugged into the air cushion.
Cons
  • The use of an inflatable bed pan may require more effort or coordination on the part of the user, which could be physically taxing or uncomfortable

this is an awesome product

cleans easily, can be cleaned with toilet bowel cleaner, Clorox disinfectant wipes, soap an water. fits wonderfully under a patient that can't roll well, and it's comfortable for the patient. don't fill it with air so that it becomes hard.

Pros
  • Material:PVC.comfortable core, soft feel
Cons
  • If the bed pan develops a leak or puncture, it may be rendered unusable or require time-consuming repairs

Works surprisingly well

I used this with a commode liner /bag and a commode absorbent gel pad. Together this worked as a "commode" while traveling. Assemble then place it in the seat of your wheelchair to use at night. Voila-commode.In the morning tie up the commode liner bag and discard.

Pros
  • Easy to use, using for my wife having arthritis.
Cons
  • Does not meet my needs
