Works exactly as described, make sure you know what you are buying!

I have two desktops connected to this, which allows me to use a wireless mouse, wireless keyboard and monitor for both computers. It works exactly as described once you know what you need. Don't listen to other reviewers who haven't done enough research. Another person has been using this in my office for the past 2-3 years with no problems. Very reliable.

My mistake regarding computers and accessories

I returned this product because I did not know that it is designed to connect 2 computers to 1 monitor. I had to reverse, 2 monitors to one computer.

Switchable with keyboard shortcuts.

I was looking for a way to share my monitor, keyboard and mouse between my desktop and laptop. Kinan 2 VGA Port KVM Switch meets all the needs perfectly. It was quick and easy to connect 2 computers, sharing a mouse and keyboard. I got up and ran after 5 minutes. Whether the multimedia keyboard is recognized. However

Does the multimedia keyboard recognize I liked this KVM. But my whole office needs a makeover. cables are short. like 3 feet or something. For some reason, long KVM cables aren't made anymore these days. I'm not sure if it's for cutting corners. Luckily I checked my attic. I had an old 4 port KVM with 10ft cables to each endpoint.

Barely works, not recommended

I'm using this to split KVM between my Linux desktop and a company-supplied laptop running Windows 10 I had to use this for two other computers. Oddly enough, Revain had this brand of switch but he told me he couldn't send it to where I live. No explanation given. Instead, I chose this one. The problem I have is that after connecting to a Windows laptop it will be difficult to switch back to a Linux computer.
