They are great at first but after one paint they fade and get dirty. Now they have doubled the price. Why? I'm not sure. They are synthetic, short-lived, and mostly disposable. They are the same quality as Princeton brushes but are much more expensive. Thumbs down.

They are beautifully made and easy to use. I really like the three large sizes. They hold a ton of water and the largest of them can cover an entire dry 8" x 10" leaf! I would be perfectly happy with just these three. The two smallest brushes do not have the same proportion of hair as the others. They don't really have a stomach and don't hold much water (see photo). I'll probably find another use for them. Maybe to collect some extra color when I fill in the area.

I've only recently started using these on an acrylic painting I'm working on. I love how soft they are. they don't lose that much. They're good for the money. Ideal for mixing colors. Great for cloud.sky and other background work. I bought a mop brush and other brands were rude for what they were.
