Installation was incredibly easy. There is a scan code on the box to download the app to your phone, or you can search the app store by company name. Once I got over that, all I had to do was rename each one and set the schedule.

Setup through the app store was easy, but setup with Alexa doesn't work so I won't go into detail. If you want to ask Alexa to turn on the lights, TV, or coffee maker, don't buy this set of plugs. Also big, you can't plug in an air freshener and 2 won't fit in the same outlet.

I bought these on Prime Day and have repeatedly tried to get them to work with the other KMC smart plugs we have. These new plugins will absolutely not connect to the application. I've tried both quick mode and AP mode and they absolutely won't connect. In hotspot mode I can connect to wifi from the device but when I go back to the app I can't continue. I would like my money back for them but I missed the return window foolishly thinking they would work. Don't buy them.

I have bought their larger smart plugs and 4 socket smart plugs before and I have to say they fit the family very well. They're great for all those little spots I want to improve. This product works with the Smart Life App. A major downside for me is that there is no indication that the outlet is on. The attached image shows a green light for other brands of Wi-Fi outlets, telling me they are on.
