It will work but you will need a Honda binding or gasket.

After replacing the cylinder head gasket, I also replaced this camshaft plug. There was some oil running around. You should use Honda Bond or another manufacturer of high temperature gaskets to avoid leaks.

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • A few minor things

Correct part and delivered on time

I had a bad oil leak and at first thought it was the valve cover. This part was the cause of the oil leak. There is an o-ring around the plug and it was completely flat and leaking. They fixed my oil leak for little money.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Modern

Cork still drips

Bought for my B20 replaced with Integra, oil leaked from cork. It is very easy to remove and replace the old one, but there are a few tweezers, because when removing the old one, some part may break or 2. After 2 days of processing, oil will leak out.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Out of style

FORK TOO SMALL. in camshaft

THE FORK IS SLIGHTLY SMALLER THAN THE OEM FORK. HAVE DONE MY PROBLEM 10 TIMES NOW AND LEAKED OIL ALL OVER THE ENTIRE ENGINE AND RIDE. I HAVE TO GO TO WORK, I REMOVED THE O-RING FROM THE NEW FORK AND PUT IT ON MY OLD FORK AND IT ATTACHED NICELY AND STRONGLY TO THE OT FORK. IT'S BEEN A FEW WEEKS AND NO LEAK.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • upgrades

PERFECT REPLACEMENT OEM

Ideal for OEM replacement! The old spark plug had a worn rubber bush and oil was constantly leaking from the cylinder head. I used Permatex Gasket and let it cure overnight. Installation took five minutes! It will fit the B20B engine which comes from the '97 Honda CRV 2.0L DOHC (Manual) but is equivalent and also compatible with the '95 Acura Integra GS-R 1.8L DOHC (Manual).

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Interchangeable

kind of work. best spare parts

Suitable. But the included o-ring didn't fix the leak I had. So I had to caulk it with a Honda binding to fix the leak. It seems pointless to buy if yours is already hacked. I still gave 3 stars because I was still able to get it to work. Perhaps buying a thicker o-ring saved me from installing a Honda Bond. But I didn't have time for that. The car was a 2007 Honda Civic LX.

  • weight
Cons

absolute rubbish. Rubber O-ring too small for proper seal

Absolute junk. The item came with a rubber ring that is too small to seal properly. This clearly did not solve the problem of oil leakage. I had to run to my local Honda dealer to get a genuine part. A head-to-head comparison of genuine Honda parts below and Koanto above. Please note that the Koauto rubber pad lies almost completely on the surface.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Value for money for gaskets

This cam plug was used on a B20Z2 engine and ran for about 2 months then it started leaking again then I had to take it off and clean everything again with acetone like with the first installation . Black RTV sealant was applied to the o-ring and head mating surface. I then let it dry for 3 days and now the leak seems to be gone, I could do the same with the old cam plug. Plus, it's cheaper at O'Reilly Auto Parts.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • dull packaging
