Everything went very well. This was for my 90 year old mother who lost her charger. it was great to get it for her. I'm so glad we had fast delivery. We thought it would take 2 months.

Unfortunately I didn't have to buy it. The battery is dead, although it (the battery) worked fine the last time I used it. Anyway, I bought this one thinking the original charger had died. It wasn't like that. I bought a new battery and it charges in both chargers. Regardless, I like the design of this one better than the slanted-loading original.

This block did not work; When switched on, no light was on - nothing at all. Tried different outlets at home. I asked to pay for my return shipping and they refused. I returned this unit and was surprised to learn that not only did I forfeit the money I spent shipping a useless product, but I withheld nearly $12 in restocking fees.

The original 40v battery I received the mower stopped working within 90 days. Bought a different battery. Then the charger stopped working. Bought a charger and an extra battery. Then the lawn mower is dead, no battery is charged, the lawn mower does not work. What a waste of money for rubbish. The Ryobi brand does not. We have several Ryobi tools, as well as several batteries and chargers of different sizes. We've had them for many years and they still work. I will never buy cobalt brands…

I was very happy to get this charger after my original stopped working about 2 months ago. As soon as I plugged it in, I immediately noticed that there was no light (green or red) on the charger. Charge indicator does not light up immediately after battery is inserted, giving the impression that the battery is not inserted deeply enough to make electrical contact. Forcibly lowering the battery only makes removal more difficult. In my experience, the battery just needs to be "placed" carefully into the charger to make electrical contact.
