🚽 Upgrade Your Flush System with KOHLER 1256315 Part Touchless Flush Service Kit in Black Review

I was just surprised at the lack of instructions. My husband installed it last night but couldn't get it to work as we said we needed to replace another part. But what struck him was that there were NO INSTRUCTIONS. I searched the "Ask a question" section and made it so that several others noticed the same thing. AMAZON, ask the retailer or manufacturer to include instructions with your product.

There's a reason you can't find these at hardware stores anymore: they don't work very well. Kohler really screwed up when they sold them. I bought two toilet bowls with the "Contactless" system and replaced expensive components twice each. For over $70 each, I could replace a toilet with a regular model without the money hole. This is a radical (but necessary) upgrade to the original flush sensor that was originally built into the top cover of the outboard motor unit and relied on motion detection to detect the porcelain top toilet seat . I've ordered 2 of these from Revain so far and had to return them both as they were both wrong. .This is part 1323210, not 1256315. The difference is that sensor 1256315 faces up from the black box and reads through the porcelain. Sensor 1323210 is attached with wire and can be hung outside the tank. I first wrote a great review on this new Koehler flushless kit. Unfortunately it seems to have been premature. They appear to have fixed the infinite loop purge issue, but these units have additional new issues. #1: Batteries. They really seem to eat them up in just a month or two. I'm not 100% sure that the batteries are the problem, but the sensor's range is getting shorter and shorter and eventually it stops flushing after a relatively short time.
