Review on 🚽 Upgrade Your Flush System with KOHLER 1256315 Part Touchless Flush Service Kit in Black by Wilbert Luoma

I've ordered 2 of these from Revain so far and had to return them both as they were both wrong. .This is part 1323210, not 1256315. The difference is that sensor 1256315 faces up from the black box and reads through the porcelain. Sensor 1323210 is attached with wire and can be hung outside the tank. I'm sure it was added after Revain complained) that the product description says "Part number 1323210 is part of service kit number 1256315" but that's not true. If you look at the photos of the product you can see that on the inside of the black cardboard cover there is a series of part numbers with ticks next to them. 1256315 is marked. There are two additional tick marks on the part that was actually received when ordering this product: K-1954, 1256315, 1323210 and 1339778. 1323210 is marked, not 1256315 as shown in the picture. This part is fundamentally different from 1256315 in that the sensor is designed to be hung outside the toilet bowl. Also note that this external sensor is not visible in any of the product photos. If you are expecting item 1256315, DO NOT ORDER THIS. Kohler appears to be selling it directly. Order there. UPDATE 10/12/21: Spoke to Kohler and they told me that part 1323210 is a replacement for 1256315 and that it now has an external sensor to replace the old 'electromagnetic' one. Note that Kohler's own website doesn't list this anywhere, and they still claim to sell part 1256315 and show pictures of it without the external sensor, but they send part 1323210 with the order, just like Revain. So it looks like it's actually a new replacement part and the old one is no longer made, but it's quite different from the original so be prepared. However, based on other reviews, it looks like the new model could be an improvement if you're struggling.
