Love it! Went like clockwork!

Worked great for my friend Challah! It was amazing to have challah again after visiting a friend 1.5 years ago! The mold worked great, the bread came out so easily! The size is just perfect for my little family! My recipe is small and perfect for this! Mold is also easy to clean! The size is smaller than a box of 18 eggs. See photos for size comparison. My girlfriend's baking has never been so perfect!

Awesome!: Bakeware

I used 2 The Kosher Cook KCBW0161 ROYAL CHALLAH SILICONE PAN - SMALL Challah Tins to quickly make Nosh's Gluten Free Challah: Gluten Free Jewish-American Bakery and it turned out great! I live in Israel. Although it's hard to believe there's nothing quite like it on the market. Luckily, ordering from the States (thanks to Revain and the Marketplace seller) and getting the goods shipped to Israel was painless and quick.

  • Sturdy construction

Not as quick and easy as you think!

I bought a small mold but I didn't expect it to be so small! I think I assumed the large loaf was extra large and the small a regular sized loaf. And I never would have bought it if I knew you bake for I think 15 minutes and then take the bread out of the pan and put it back in the oven on a baking sheet to finish baking. I had a real disaster as I put in too much batter and it overflowed and leaked and then I had to transfer it to a baking sheet! Don't feel like making another shape! I'm just…

I can go gluten free and still eat challah!

I used to love making challah every week but now I'm on a gluten free diet. This pan allows me to bake challah-like bread to fill me up. More importantly, you can use it to tear off pieces of bread on Shabbat, just like real challah. I am very glad that such a product appeared on the market. Works well. Tip 1: Take the bread out of the pan and turn it out onto the baking sheet about 2/3 of the time to brown it evenly. Tip 2: The best GF Challah I've found is in Betty Hagman's book More From…

Good challah mold suitable for lunch boxes

Silicone mesh challah mold is great for making gluten free challah. Since gluten-free dough is soft and therefore cannot be braided, this pan helps me a lot. Instead of spending hours trying to make soft, gluten-free dough, I use this pan. I just put the dough in and it comes out in a challah shape. This is a great challah pan that looks like wicker but doesn't actually need braiding. You can also use this pan for regular challah, but I only use it for gluten-free challah because my regular…

Good product! I just bought that.

Great product! I just bought it to see if I like it and I was impressed with the results. So much so that my husband bought another one at his own expense. The recipe I use to make challah bread calls for 3 cups of flour and now I can make two lovely little loaves with these silicone molds. It's not quite the same as braiding the dough yourself, but I like the end result as my braids often spread out in the center of the loaf during baking and the center isn't as toasted. I don't have this…

Beautiful challah made of wicker without braiding!

I like to give away beautiful and tasty challah! The loaf can be sliced for sandwiches without worrying about not getting even slices! I don't know who invented these bakers, but they are geniuses. There were no problems with the dough sticking to the mold. I took the bread out about 10 minutes early, transferred it from the pan onto a parchment-lined breadstone, gave it its signature shine with the egg mixture, and sprinkled it in the oven (not the bread! the bread was starting to brown).…

Highly recommend for the shallot uniform

I bought these items because I liked the large size and wanted to be able to make a small shallot when we have few or no guests. The resulting shallot is fairly homogeneous. I find that they come out slightly curved on the bottom (which is up when you start baking), but that's not noticeable when you place them on a board or baking sheet. I think they're essential for someone like me who isn't an expert at braiding, and another benefit is that challah recipes with sticky dough are much easier…
