🔧 KYB 344385 Excel-G Gas Shock: Enhanced Performance in Black and Silver Review

Installation is very easy and well worth the 30 minutes it took. So far I would highly recommend it and the price couldn't be better than the local parts stores.

Fits perfectly in the cab of my 2007 Ram 1500 quad. My truck is driving well again. You can't go wrong with KYB shocks. I used them on one of my Vettes so I was sure they would be good. Excellent value for money and quality.

Great upgrade for my million year old rusty shock absorbers. I no longer have to hop around in my old 2001 Silverado 1500 truck. Amazingly easy to install, besides getting iron off my old rusty shock absorbers and truck for the next 50 years!

I installed these on my 2013 RAM about a month ago. About 2 years ago I replaced the factory dampers with monotube dampers, but I didn't like their stiffness, especially on bad roads. They're much smoother on rough roads, but definitely don't feel fluffy or "soft". Highly recommended.

I installed them on a 2014 Ram 1500 (with air suspension). Completely replaced from the factory. Installation only took about an hour and a few YouTube videos. My truck drives just like I bought it! Don't let the price fool you, they are worth every penny!

Da Gute Hits! -- Updated 26-26-2021. I purchased these rear shocks for my standard cab model Ram1500 V6. No towing or major towing required. Only 7,000 miles on it and one failed completely. He took them off and one is inserted and stays. Very disappointed with KYB! Used to be one of the best. I switched to another brand - a monotube design and now the truck drives like new! I would not recommend these at all!

I've been driving with a broken shock absorber for so long without realizing it. Here's the story, I switched from 3/4 diesel to 1/2 petrol. After a while, I figured the softer, springier ride was half-ton quality. Boy when I ducked under and noticed the half burst shock (probably from overloading the truck as I always drove 3/4 or 1 ton) I felt stupid. Nevertheless, all 4 shock absorbers were replaced and damn, the truck feels like this now!

I ordered 2 of these shock absorbers in used like new condition. Came in separate boxes. I'm pretty sure the first one wasn't even the right shock. It was so tight in the box that I couldn't get it out to look. The shock absorber end was badly rusted. It looks like something that has been established for the past 10 years. I sent it back and Revane sent another. The two shocks I finally finished with were new and still had the tether straps on them. These bumps strengthened the rear end of the…
