Description of Lamp Plastic Chain Socket Retaining

This is a medium base (E26) phenolic socket that includes a shade ring. It has a standard on-off pull-chain interior with screw terminals that is rated 660 watts and 250 volts. The bottom cap is threaded to accept a 1/8 IP rod or nipple. This socket is UL and CSA listed. It consists of 4 pieces: a bottom cap, a top cap, an interior, and a shade ring.

Next time I'm going to the hardware store

It arrived broken but since I paid less than four dollars for it it wasn't worth it to repackage it, print a return label and wait. on the line at the post office to send it back.
