This broom was delivered to me less than 10 minutes ago and I am sending it back. I bought it to scoop dog hair off the carpet. The bristles picked up some hairs but the broom mostly fell apart after 5 strokes. The head rotates on the handle but is not fixed during use. This must be a known issue as there was contact information for a replacement. I don't want a replacement.

I was initially very happy with the broom and how well it picks up dog hair from floors and carpets. But almost immediately, the bottom handle came loose several times, and I had to stop and tighten it every few swipes of the broom. No matter how hard I twisted it, it kept dangling. Then, just a few days later, the rubber part of the bristles separated from the plastic body, rendering the broom useless. Revain provided a return label and quickly refunded my payment. I originally bought this to try and get cat hair off of wood grain tile floors. It was basically like a regular broom and didn't give magical results in my opinion. It collects hair in a bunch and you spend as much time on it as with a regular broom. However, I saw that some people use the broom on the carpets, so I decided to do the same in our bedroom. If you're thinking about buying, take the plunge! I am so in love with this broom. I have carpet and linoleum at home. I have 3 dogs and I have long hair. I ruined a couple of vacuums because of my hair. This broom is amazing. I can use it on all floor coverings. This saves me $$ from buying Swiffer refills. I still vacuum the carpet but not all the hair. I have an Australian Shepherd that sheds year round so I have to mop the floor daily. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars for durability

I've had this broom for three months now and it works like a champ. However, the one I got wouldn't stop unscrewing when I used it, and eventually one of the segments wouldn't catch when I screwed it back in (so it kept unscrewing forever). I ended up using Gorilla Glue so the part didn't bother me anymore. The only other issue I've encountered is the entire strip of rubber bristles detaching from the brush. Those two issues aside, this broom does a great job on wood, tile, and carpet. Picks up

I bought this because I was looking for a tool to remove cat hair from carpets. I have seen rubber brooms used to remove pet hair from carpets and although laborious they have given good results. I bought it and tried it on my bedroom rug. Now I vacuum regularly, but of course there are hairs I can't see. I used it on the carpet and loved it! Hair, it seems, climbed out of nowhere!
