It does what it's supposed to and does what it promises. However, the wood is a bit thin and will flex with the laptop on top of it unless supported directly under the laptop, which is the case for me. The picture is also a bit deceptive as to how big it really is. My HP 15.6" laptop fits perfectly, with enough room for a mouse on the right and a 3D mouse on the left, but nothing fits after that.
