Great collar for my dog that pulls

This collar has met everyone of my expectations. It is well-made. It has a nice look to it. It works very nicely as intended as a choker also for my dog that pulls when I walk her. I have very high energy hard playing little dog and his collar is standing up very well to everything she’s putting it through. When this one wears out I will certainly buy another one. Also I love the fact that it doesn’t have a breakaway option, So when she sees that rabbit I’m not left with just a collar at the…

Pros
  • Provides added safety on busy streets
Cons
  • May not be effective for leash training or control on dogs who are highly reactive or aggressive

I like it, except 2 things. The stitched on hyhug patch makes it too hard to make it smaller. She is wearing a M now (standard manchester terrier) I can make it fit if I push through the tag, but it's a pain. Second, I don't like that it only has one loop for the tags and leash. The other one she has, has 2 loops and no name tag of the company.

Pros
  • Martingale design is less likely to cause injury than choke collars
Cons
  • Could make it harder for owners to monitor their dogs’ health or behavior while on walks or in public places

Get this one if you need durability!

I don’t usually write reviews about good things but this collar! It is the BEST collar I have ever used! My old English sheep dog has broke every collar I’ve bought her at the clasp within the first week usually some last a little longer. this collar I’ve had for a few months now and it’s still holding up strong no signs of giving out or wear at all yet. If you have to put your puppers on a tie out for short periods of time this collar is the way to go.

Pros
  • Basic Collars
Cons
  • May be too flashy or attention-grabbing for owners who prefer more understated collars

Looks sturdy, doesn't stretch or have a clip

I forgot to see the image and didn't realize that the collar didn't have a clip. I purchased a small for my dog, but it did fit him fine. Does seem slightly tedious to put on your dog isn't still.

Pros
  • Collar promotes better communication with the dog
Cons
  • Could cause damage or wear to leash attachments or other equipment if not properly secured or maintained

Tough, well made, pretty and effective

This collar was bought for my service dog.who HATES collars that are uncomfortable. He LOVES this collar-the first ever. He likes it so much that on the rare occasion it comes off; for a good scratch or a bath-he never loses sight of where it was set down and as soon as he's done goes to get it and brings it to me to put it on. He's a rough and tumble boy when not in harness. He's hard on equipment and does like to pull and chew. He works a lot and so it's in all types of experiences and…

Pros
  • Provides a more humane way to control pulling
Cons
  • Could be too complicated or confusing for new dog owners to use effectively

Geraman Shepherd Puppy

I purchased this for my German Shepherd puppy. She is a fluff ball and likes to try to worm her way out of her collar when she doesn't want to walk. This collar tightens when she tries to escape and doesn't let her get lose. So far it appears durable and nicely constructed. I do wish that it had a clasp on it. It's a bit rough tightening it enough once it is on her neck.

Pros
  • 6 months - 15 years
Cons
  • Could be too bulky to fit under certain types of clothing or accessories

Great collar, but it’s missing something!

My 9 month old German Shepherd puppy has gone through 3 collars from birth to now! This collar is her fourth one. She’s doing really good with it, and leaving it on 24/7 too. Only one she has not chewed off! The only recommendation is to add a loop for the tags vs sharing a tag loop with the leash hook up. Other than that, it’s perfect!

Pros
  • Great quality had for about a year
Cons
  • Could put undue pressure on the trachea or other delicate parts of the neck

As good as can be. good for me

Most important thing that I considered was would the tightening function of this collar work. That is an absolute yes, as any properly made fastening collar would. Same goes for durability and comfort. If anyone is looking for a good tightening collar, this collar's good enough, and that's all it needs to be.

Pros
  • Provides additional security during training sessions
Cons
  • Could cause damage to furniture or other possessions if dogs scratch or rub against them while wearing it

Better than a buckle collar

I got this type of collar for my Pitbull. The old collar she was strong enough to pull on lead and break the clip. It stays lose and comfortable until she pulls. She learned fast not to pull so the collar stays lose.

Pros
  • 4.72 x 1.97 x 1.77 inches; 3.99 Ounces
Cons
  • Could make dogs more aggressive or reactive if used improperly or excessively

Durable collar for my active dog

My dog literally broke the plastic buckle on his buckle collar. We bought this collar because the Austin Humane Society uses them and it is working perfectly. Skippy can't break out of it and it looks sharp on his fur.

Pros
  • The reinforced stitching is strong and durable. All sewing joints are folded over making them smooth. This allows more comfort to you and your furry friend during use.
Cons
  • May not be a good choice for dogs who are easily spooked or overwhelmed by new things

He didn’t slip out of this one!

My dog was an expert at getting away. This collar fits him perfectly but doesn’t let him slip out. It looks good and it’s a good value

Pros
  • Perfect for walking and training
Cons
  • Could cause confusion or difficulty if owners switch back and forth between different types of collars or equipment

I got the pink one absolutely love it very durable

I got this one for my English Springer Spaniel puppyAbsolutely love it it's stronger and better quality than any other one I've purchased before the last one she had she could get off and the others off before this one doesn't loosen on its own and she can't get it to slip over her head now we can enjoy walks better without the worry of her slipping through her collar and leave us with just holding the empty collar and leash Thank You absolutely love it Thank you

Pros
  • Great for dogs in training or those prone to pulling
Cons
  • May not provide enough support or control for dogs with certain behavioral or physical issues
