0 complaints - Cord

Bank line was perfect. Not flat or smelly as others have mentioned. They sent me a well done bank line #36. Would I buy again.

Pros
  • Large range
Cons
  • Speed

Very reliable - tonneau cover and fixings

I bought the bench line as part of my 10C but found another use for it. I used a spike knot to attach the piece to my car and it's still holding up.

Pros
  • Good construction
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Better than paracord every day!

Great stuff! I used to think paracord was the way to go, but then Dave Canterbury introduced the Tarred Bank Line. Guys, this rope is amazing! Strong, slightly stiff, holds knots well, is evenly tarred, compact and CHEAP! In my opinion the best tackle for bushcraft, survival, camping and life in the forest.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Bad instructions

I liked it and will order again.

This is a high quality material. I was afraid that if I order on the Internet, I will turn out to be someone's junk. This line looks great and I haven't had any issues with what I've used so far. It came very quickly and I was happy with the product. I will definitely be ordering from Lee Fisher again once this line runs out or if I have something else I'm looking for. I will not hesitate to order online as long as I order from Lee Fisher.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

This is my favorite thing now.

How I've never heard of it in my 15 years of film and outdoor work, I don't understand. It works anyway, great value for money. On my recent week-long hike, I used it to tie down a tripod in a moving vehicle, tie down a canopy in a windy canyon in the mountains, like 4 attachment points for shade. with tarp and bungee cords. The non-slip properties of this lead make me prefer it over Paracord 550 for this and many other uses. The only problem is that a slipknot doesn't slide very well when…

  • Easy to use

  • Negative impression

Good alternative to Cord 550. Smells terrible.

I bought this cord for hiking and hammock hanging. The tear strength is 240 lbs, which means the actual working load of this material is about 1/5 of that. So I wouldn't trust 1 thread over 48 pounds. I have been able to use 4 strands per side on my hammock and it works well. 1 strand is enough to pass my tree bag as a bear bag. What I like best is that it's much lighter than the Cable 550. I used to take 35 feet of the Cable 550 on hikes. I am now listing 75 feet of this material for the same…

Good quality and inexpensive rope.

This is a great material and I had doubts about the quality from the start. When you unpack it, it has almost no smell, which was surprising. I don't know why some people are so sensitive to a little smell. In any case, according to my calculations, the whole thing cost about 2.3 cents per foot. They reach almost 500 feet. It's woven. It's tarred. I bet you'll probably like it as much as I do. Compared to paracord, it is much less bulky, costs several times less, and can be more useful in…

Excellent product at an affordable price

Bank Line generally has few features compared to paracord for many uses. Without both I would never have taken to the streets. I particularly like this Shoreline #36 woven by Lee Fisher. It has more than double the strength of 550 paracord per volume. Although a single thread weighs about 300 pounds, you can attach four or five strands in the same place as a length of standard paracord. 300 pounds is enough for most crafts. Let's face it, for hanging a tarp and setting guidelines, paracord is…
